I have found in my experience as a pastor, a counselor, and a recovering alcoholic that the recovery issues for pastors are more complex than the typical church-goer. We often are placed in a different category; one that is seen as more than human. Didn't they teach "How to live the sin-free life" in seminary?
There are several reasons for this situation, but the truth is we need support and recovery as much as anyone...except it often is difficult to find.
